Terms and Conditions

1. Lessons – Overview

Lessons are scheduled for the same day and time each week, unless alternate arrangements are made. Typically, you will have the same tutor each week, but a substitute may be provided if necessary.

Lessons are conducted during South Australian school terms, with potential holiday lessons available; we will keep you informed throughout the year.

If your child is unwell, please don’t let him/her attend the lessons. We can reschedule any missed sessions.

2. Instruments – Do I Need My Own?

Students are required to bring their own instruments to lessons, and it is expected that they have an instrument available for practice.

3. Enrolment

To enrol, please complete and submit the online enrolment form. We will contact you to arrange a suitable lesson time.

Once confirmed, we will provide details on enrolment, fees, and your lesson schedule.

4. Enrolment Types

There are two types of enrolment: prepaid and casual.

4.1.  Prepaid

This option is available for students aged 18 and under who are currently attending school. Payment is required upfront for a term’s worth of lessons, calculated based on the total number of lessons minus any public holidays that coincide with your lesson day.

Lessons cannot commence until payment is received. If payment is not received within two weeks, your slot may be offered to another student.

Enrolment is continuous, meaning you will be automatically re-enrolled unless you provide written notice of cancellation. This includes automatic re-enrolment for the first term of the following year.

4.2 Cancelled/Missed Lessons

Occasionally, lessons may need to be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, and we can assist in rescheduling those. If a lesson conflicts with another activity, we will try to accommodate a reschedule within reason. However, we do not reschedule lessons for playdates, holidays, birthday parties, etc.

Please communicate any issues with us as they arise.

4.3 Withdrawal

Withdrawals can only occur at the end of the current term. To withdraw, please notify us via email before the term concludes. Once we confirm your withdrawal, it will be officially processed.

Failure to provide adequate notice will result in ongoing lesson charges.

4.4 Casual Lessons

Casual lessons are designed for adults. After each lesson, you will be invoiced and can schedule your next session. The prepaid option is also available for adult learners.

5. Payment Terms

Payments are due within 7 days of the invoice date. If payment is not received within one week of the due date, attendance to lessons will be suspended until full payment is processed.

6. Instrument Hire

At the moment, we do not offer instruments for hire. However, we are happy to assist you in finding a suitable instrument to rent or purchase.
